This Malayalam anthology series based on legendary author MT Vasudevan Nair’s work, saw stalwarts from Kerala’s film industry come together to bring to life nine diverse and compelling stories of his. Each story explored base human emotions in a complex way that wasn’t finite or linear, leaving ample room for ambiguous readings, much like a novel would.
About the Project
Our idea for the title sequence, was to arrive at the legacy of the renowned author, by using the texture of aged paper; pages from his novels that have probably been sitting on your family book shelf for years. A lived-in feeling of an old book is what we applied to our visuals, with paper-crafted 3D motifs from each episode forming compositions that live in the pages of an open book.
