A series based on five stories intertwined with one another through the World Wide Web, Chutzpah explores the complexities of real life through the somewhat delusional online lives of the quirky nethead characters. It is the era of the internet, and we're only beginning to scratch the surface of what it means for human relationships.
About the Project
The idea was to bring out the dystopian undertones of social interaction over the internet- using cyberpunk aesthetics and surreal symbolism. We decided to use faceless mannequins who are only defined by the situations they are stuck in, much like how we view strangers on the internet. All we know about them is what we can see on their timeline, and that is a daunting new way of looking at human interactions, historically speaking.
